Place de Marronniers  --

The design of the Place des Marronniers is aimed at making this space a public meeting plaza, for fun and relaxation for all the residents of Douvres. After visiting the site and the setting it was evident that this space needed to be a green space contrary to the design program. Thus our challenge was to include the program brief in a soft scape, finding the right equilibrium between hard and soft.  The number of parking spaces being a crucial element, the project provides multifunctional surfaces for a variety of uses and events.
